The Role

We are seeking a Scientist – Biomedicine / Bioinnovation to drive R&D programs from concept to application. The role involves translating scientific ideas into scalable products and technologies with commercial and societal impact.

  • PhD in:
    • Biomedical Science / Biotechnology / Bioengineering.
    • Pharmaceutical Sciences / Life Sciences.
  • 3–15 years of experience in biomedical or applied life science R&D.
  • Proven experience in:
    • Translational research (lab → product)
    • Experimental design and validation.
    • Regulatory or clinical exposure.

  • Lead research in:
    • Biomaterials, biopolymers, enzymes, and medical-grade materials
    • Enzyme/fermentation-based production of commercial molecules
    • Drug delivery systems and therapeutic formulations
    • Microbial and bio-based healthcare solutions
    • Regenerative medicine/tissue engineering (preferred)
  • Develop prototypes, formulations, and scalable processes.
  • Design and execute laboratory and preclinical studies.
  • Convert research into medical, health-tech, and functional biomaterial products.
  • Support grant writing, IP generation, and commercialization activities.
  • Collaborate across biology, chemistry, and engineering disciplines.
  • Mentor junior scientists.
